Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory, ME

The Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory located in Bucksport, ME replaced the Waldo-Hancock Bridge in 2006. The bridge offers visitors the unique opportunity of viewing not only the Penobscot River and Bay, but all of the areas surrounding the bridge up to some 100 miles. The bridge is a cable-stayed design with a virtually corrosion-free cable system.
